Welcome Our New ACGME Mohs Fellow to Kouba Dermatology!
We are thrilled to announce that in 2025, Kouba Dermatology will welcome Dr. Silas Money as our new ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellow to our practice. Dr. Money will be coming to us from his Dermatology Resident program at The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
About the ACGME Fellowship
The ACGME MSDO fellowship is a rigorous and prestigious program designed to provide dermatologists with advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and reconstructive techniques. Fellows undergo comprehensive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art- technology and gain expertise in treating complex cases of skin cancer with precision and care.
At Kouba Dermatology, the fellowship program reflects our mission to provide exceptional patient car while fostering innovation and education. Under the mentorship of Dr. David Kouba, an expert in Mohs surgery and reconstructive dermatology, the incoming fellow will hone their skills in:
Mohs Micrographic Surgery: Mastering this highly effective technique for treating skin cancer with the highest cure rates while preserving healthy tissue.
Cutaneous Oncology: Developing expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.
Reconstruction: Learning advanced techniques to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients following surgery.
